String Quartet Tour!!
When one tour closes, another one opens..
Hello sweet people. I hope you are well, wherever you are in the world right now. Spring is gently springing over here. The band and I have just come back from tour, which was nothing short of magical. The dust has only now begun to settle.. but by gosh it won’t stay settled for long. For a new plan has hatched! Over the past few years I have become enamoured with the sound of the string quartet and have been delicately toying with the idea building an intimate show around it. And finally, it’s happening! This September and December I’ll be hitting the road with a string quartet and Darius on wurlitzer for an intimate set of shows in beautiful locations across the UK and the Netherlands. We will be playing mostly songs from ‘The Lighthouse’, but also some old material and, perhaps, some new?! Tickets are on sale now. Do move swiftly, especially the London show has been selling quite fast. I really can’t wait to put this evening of music together, it’s a real dream come true.
See you there?

A new “Life Is Strange” Soundtrack
And I have more fun news! A week ago, the new “Life Is Strange: Reunion” videogame was released, and yet again I was lucky enough to be on the music team, led by Feel For Music. I contributed a part of the game’s instrumental score and wrote 4 songs for the official soundtrack, which was released last week too. As you might hear, it’s a slightly different shade of the Tessa you know. It’s me inhabiting the main character of the game - Max Caulfield - weaving her personality and emotional arc into my own musical sound. It’s always a joy to create this musical hybrid, and I’m very proud to see these new songs of mine alongside so many other great artists’ work! Listen to our little collective album here:

Okay! That’s all for now, folks. I will report back when there is more.
Enjoy your beautiful day.
